Esmé Sciaroni was born in Ticino, she studied make-up for film in Paris and architecture at the Mendrisio Academy. She has worked with directors such as Silvio Soldini, Gianni Amelio, and Alain Resnais. She was make-up Designer in the first three seasons of My Brilliant Friend (2018- ). She is a member of the EFA, the Accademia del Cinema Italiano, and the AMPAS.
