Ataka51

Originally from Moscow, now based in Paris, Ataka51 is a film collective consisting of Dimitri Gorbaty, Philipp Ivanov, Alex Epikhov, and Sergei Medvedev. They first met at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), while Gorbaty was at the Moscow School of New Cinema. Since its formation, the group has developed short films, videos, and live performances. Its members see the world as an ever-expanding system of signs – science, politics, reality and fiction, human and non-human objects.

Ataka51 è un collettivo cinematografico, originariamente di Mosca e ora basato a Parigi, composto da Dimitri Gorbaty, Philipp Ivanov, Alex Epikhov e Sergei Medvedev. I membri del gruppo si sono incontrati per la prima volta all' Institute of Cinematography Gerasimov (VGIK), mentre Gorbaty frequentava la Moscow School of New Cinema. Dalla sua formazione, il gruppo ha realizzato cortometraggi, video e performance dal vivo. I suoi membri vedono il mondo come un sistema di segni in continua espansione: scienza, politica, realtà e finzione, oggetti umani e non umani.
