Ciel Sourdeau

Ciel Sourdeau (born 1997) is a French filmmaker and music composer. He studied filmmaking at the Haute École d'Art et de Design in Geneva. In his films, he creates fantastic worlds in which the stars of his everyday life become great and fantastic figures. He makes use of home-made special effects, where the irony of cinematic artifice becomes a poetic language. He sees his work as an invitation into playful imaginary worlds that everyone can choose to enter.

Ciel Sourdeau (nato nel 1997) è un regista e compositore musicale francese che ha studiato regia alla Haute École d'Art et de Design di Ginevra. Nei suoi film crea mondi fantastici in cui i protagonisti della vita quotidiana diventano figure grandiose e fantastiche. Utilizza effetti speciali autoprodotti in cui l'ironia dell'artificio cinematografico diventa un linguaggio poetico. Per Sourdeau il suo lavoro è un invito a entrare in immaginari mondi giocosi rivolto a chiunque abbia il desiderio di farlo.
