Locarno Today introduces the third day of the Festival: it's the day of the Concorso Cineasti del presente, starting with Sorayos Prapapan's Arnold Is a Model Student, and Alena Lodkina's Petrol. As for the Concorso internazionale, it's time for Nação Valente by Carlos Conceição and Bowling Saturne by Patricia Mazuy. There's a surprising Fuori Concorso double bill, Andrew Legge's LOLA and Sylvain George's Nuit obscure, about North African migrants arriving in Europe. Piazza Grande ends the day with Olivia Newman's Where the Crawdads Sing, starring the talented Leopard Club Award recipient Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Nicola Prosatore's Piano Piano.
