Locarno Network

Launching this year, Locarno Network is a public affairs accreditation that enables high-level networking between institutional personalities and representatives of the business world. Available as an add-on to an existing Professional accreditation or as a standalone accreditation, Locarno Network is available for public affairs representatives, C-level executives, and diplomats, offering a suite of tangible benefits to facilitate the work of diplomatic and business exchange during the Festival.

Public transport in Ticino and Moesano (according to the Arcobaleno fare network) is included in every accreditation for the entire duration of the Festival.

Seat booking is mandatory for all screenings – except those in Piazza Grande – for all accreditation holders.

Locarno Network stands at the intersection of culture, politics, and private companies, a meeting point for business professionals at the Locarno Film Festival. Apply for a standalone Locarno Network accreditation to access all the exclusive benefits without having access to the regular program of films.

The Locarno Film Festival is increasingly a key space for high-level meetings between representatives of the business, political, and cultural communities. Even beyond its innovative offer of films and events, Locarno has become a convenient meeting point for prominent members of these communities from Switzerland and around the world to develop future partnerships in person, against the backdrop of one of the world’s largest and most prestigious festivals.

What Do I Get With My Accreditation?

Access to a daily private lounge
Away from the frantic bustle of the Festival, accreditation holders will be able to use a private lounge and book a meeting room for their meetings.
Access to the "Who-is-Who" platform
Over 150,000 people attend the Festival every year, so figuring our who’s who in Locarno, when they’re in town, and how to connect with them can be a challenge. Now we’re introducing a networking app to help participants connect with attendees, select from an overview, and chat with them to set up first meetings.
Invitation to select Public Affairs events
Participants will be invited to at least two relevant events such as the Opening Reception, Monte Verità Reception, Diplomacy Day, or the Gran Consiglio Reception. This will be defined at a later date by the management.
"Coffee With" program (Thursday to Tuesday)
A series of informal meet-and-greet sessions on relevant topics such as artificial intelligence and artistic freedom.
Selection of Films Curated by the Artistic Director
An ad hoc program of recommendations for films selected at Locarno78 on political topics relevant to both private and public sector representatives personally assembled by the Artistic Director.
Dedicated Hotline
Managed by the Public Affairs team, offering support via phone and email for any inquiries.
Concierge Service
Assistance with booking cars, restaurants, and receiving hotel suggestions to assist with a more convenient Festival experience.
Dinner at the Leopard Club Lounge
Network badge holders will have the option to dine at the Leopard Club Lounge at the forfeit rate of CHF 80.- per person (upon availability – reservation is mandatory).

Locarno Network stands at the intersection of culture, politics, and private companies, a meeting point for business professionals at the Locarno Film Festival. Accreditations are available for public affairs executives, C-level executives, and diplomats who wish to attend the Festival for the purposes of professional networking and business exchange.
