Radu Jude

Born in 1977 in Bucharest, Radu Jude is a Romanian director and screenwriter who works from documents of his country's removed history. His short and feature films have been selected and awarded at several prestigious international festivals. In 2016 he won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Film Festival with Scarred Hearts. Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn (2021), his most recent feature, received the Golden Bear at the Berlinale and has been sold to more than 20 countries worldwide.
