Gerardo Michelin
Gerardo Michelin began working as a journalist for film industry trade publications in Spain and England. In 2007, he founded LatAm cinema, a multi-platform outlet which over the years has turned into the most trusted and comprehensive information source for the Latin American film industry. Based in Montevideo, Uruguay, LatAm cinema features news reports and in-depth coverage designed to promote projects and initiatives within the film industry. Throughout his career, he has participated in conferences and given workshops at various events, including the European Film Market, San Sebastian Co-Production Forum, BrLab São Paulo, Locarno Industry Academy, Ventana Sur and SANFIC Industria, among others.
