Born in the United Kingdom and based in Ticino, Switzerland, Oliver Osborne studied Film, Television & Media at the University of East Anglia before working for nine years at VICE Media, where he rose to become Global Vice President of Publishing, Content Strategy & Analytics.
He joined the Locarno Film Festival in 2023 and now serves as its Chief Communications Officer (CCO). In that capacity, he leads the Festival’s communications department, encompassing the Press Office, Editorial, Marketing, and Digital Merchandising, and sets its broader strategy. He is also responsible for the development and management of the Festival’s iconic brand and its related marketing activities.
