Usage rights: In general, images and photos of the Locarno Film Festival are freely available to journalists, who can use them for editorial purposes for their publications. The commercial use of the photographic material (for advertising and other commercial uses) by third parties is strictly prohibited.

All images are legally protected. Any use that is unlawful, discriminatory or that harms the image of Locarno Film Festival is strictly prohibited. Publication is authorized only with the indication of the source: ©Locarno Film Festival, if not stated otherwise.

Press Center

During the Festival dates, press screenings are accessible via the regular program once you sign in with your accreditation information. Press conferences for film delegations in the main program take place at the Palazzo della Sopracenerina, the Festival Center.

Accreditations for Locarno78 (6-16 August 2025), including press badges, will be open for applications from Spring 2025.
