Charles Tesson

Charles Tesson is the vice-president of the French Film Critic’s Union and was the Artistic Director of Semaine de la critique at Cannes Film Festival from 2012 to 2021. Former editor-in-chief of Cahiers du cinéma (1998-2003), he is the author of several books on cinema including those on Satyajit Ray, Luis Buñuel, and Akira Kurosawa.
