After a close online relationship, Milena and Philip, both Bulgarians who emigrated to Canada, meet for a holiday in the Quebec countryside. Passion between the two ignites, but soon anguish and recriminations prevail. Within a metaphysical landscape, Denis Côté’s second film presented in the 2007 Concorso Cineasti del presente investigates the demons that poison every ideal of intimacy.
