Dopo la laurea alla Kunsthochschule für Medien di Colonia, Katharina Huber ha ottenuto una borsa di studio dal programma DAAD per studiare al Royal College of Art di Londra. Tornata a Colonia ha continuato a lavorare come regista indipendente. Come co-fondatrice dello Studio Huber Casalprim ha prodotto il film-saggio semi-documentario Out of the Gardens (2018), girato in Antartide e presentato al FIDMarseille nel 2018. Nel 2020 il suo cortometraggio The Natural Death of a Mouse (2020) ha vinto svariati premi in festival internazionali e si è aggiudicato il German Short Film Prize.
After graduating at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Katharina Huber received a scholarship from the DAAD to study at the Royal College of Art in London. Back in Cologne, she continued to work as an independent filmmaker. As the co-founder of Studio Huber Casalprim, she produced the semi-doc-essay-feature Out of the Gardens that was shot in Antarctica and premiered in FIDMarseille in 2018. In 2020, her short film The Natural Death of a Mouse won several awards at international festivals and received the German Short Film Prize.
