Melissa Adeyemo

Melissa Oluwarotimi Adeyemo is an accomplished, visionary film producer who founded Ominira Studios and co-founded the intracontinental studio Yetu (Un)Limited.

Melissa’s first feature, Eyimofe, premiered at the 2020 Berlinale, is an NYTimes Critics Pick and a part of the Criterion Collection. Dusty & Stones, her first documentary feature, premiered at Doc NYC 2022. It has gone on to win several awards across the US and Europe and is being theatrically distributed by First Run Features.

Melissa is a 2022 BAFTA Breakthrough Fellow, a 2023 EAVE Fellow, and a 2023 Film Independent Amplifier Fellow. Melissa has an MBA from NYU Stern and a BA from Columbia University.
