Julia Duarte

Graduated in Portuguese Studies, in Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Julia Duarte works in the film industry since 2006, when she began working in the São Paulo International Film Festival, with whom she’s collaborated until 2017 in many ways, including programing. She was executive manager of Cinema do Brasil and cofounder of the former streaming platform, now production & distribution company, Spamflix. Based in Portugal since 2016, she has been Regional Project Manager for the Industry Academy in São Paulo until 2023, apart from working in Open Doors as matchmaker since 2022.
