Sarah Schiesser

Sarah comes from a background in political, social and media studies, which is merged with her interest in artistic and cinematic practices in her current positions. She moved her first steps in the audiovisual sector in France and joined the Locarno Film Festival in 2015. Since 2021, she is working as Deputy Head of Open Doors at Locarno. Since 2022, she is also collaborating with Swiss production companies, producing short and feature projects with upcoming directors across genres.
