A cold wind has risen and Antonietta and Michele are making their last great journey in its wake. Their heading is a small heated apartment in the north of Italy, close to their children and grandchildren. Mementos are found, as the suitcases are being packed, that tell the story of a simple life and a tough love. All that remains is an abandoned house in an abandoned village, but those who are born in the South all return eventually in the end.
