A young woman relaxes in a restaurant with a friend at a riverside. She recounts her past experiences, finding enchantment in the flow of the river and the trees on the mountains nearby. Strangely enough, she enters a parallel riverside with a stranger, and both tell of stories of fear.
The first film of the young Cambodian filmmaker draws a collection of ideas inspired by her own memories and dreams. As the dialogues flow like a stream of consciousness, the nature seems to occupy more and more space on screen, but also in the mind of the characters. Is it a dream or is it real? The characters remember their past to recreate a collective memory based on feelings, sounds and impressions. They will never forget what happened.
... one of the great festivals where you can find high-quality independent films, great conversations between filmmakers and audiences as well as film education.
