Sara Fiechter

Sara Fiechter (1995) is an interdisciplinary artist from Locarno, Switzerland, with a focus on filmmaking and book design. She graduated in 2021 from the research-based master’s program CCC (critical, curatorial cybermedia studies) at HEAD-Genève, and in 2023 from the Conservatory of Audiovisual Sciences (CISA) of Locarno with a degree in film directing. In 2023 she was selected for the artistic residency Fabrica in Treviso (Italy), and in 2024 she co-founded the artistic collective Aringa Films. Sara’s works delve into the genre of Theory Fiction, merging reality and storytelling to understand the contemporary world on the brink of planetary meltdown. (sarafiechter.ch)
