Keva York

Keva York is a New York-born, Melbourne based writer and film critic. She completed her doctorate on Crispin Glover’s IT Trilogy at the University of Sydney in 2019. Since then, she has regularly reviewed films for the ABC, Australia’s national broadcaster, and her writing on cinema has also appeared in such publications as MUBI Notebook, Reverse Shot, the Metrograph Journal, and Screen Slate. She is an alum of the Locarno Critics Academy, class of ’22.
