The Locarno Festival and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival announce today the call for entries for the Thessaloniki - Locarno Industry Academy International 2018. The applications will be open until Tuesday, July 31th.
The aim of the training program, now at its third edition, is to help young professionals of the cinema industry – sales agents, distributors and new media professionals – to extend their experience and networking in the fields of international sales, marketing, distribution, exhibition and programming. The event will offer a special workshop, which will take place from Monday the 5th until Saturday the 10th of November, during which the participants will have the opportunity to interact, share experiences and meet with key players of the international film industry for discussions and case study presentations.
The Industry Academy International (Marion Klotz) and the Regional (Vanja Kaludjercic) project managers have designed and developed this international project and chosen the best group of participants for a productive, balanced and fulfilling session. The program was already launched successfully in Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil and New York, and will welcome in priority participants from Greece, South Eastern European and Mediterranean countries, but can also include other international participants. The Academy covers accommodation and lunches, and a festival accreditation.
