The Locarno Industry Academy, under the supervision of Locarno Pro, is an intensive workshop dedicated to young professionals working in international sales, marketing, traditional and online distribution, exhibition and film programming.
“This year we received a large amount of applications from almost every region of the world and we are proud of the still growing enthusiasm generated by the Industry Academy, especially as our initiative is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. We tried this year to create a diverse group of participants coming from every sector of the cinema ecosystem: exhibition, sales, programming, distribution, and archival preservation. We wanted to give priority to young professionals deeply committed to the strong transformation our industry needs, and to new voices and daring visions. We hope this year again to give the necessary impulse to a new generation of passionate players from the cinema industry”.
