Argentine film director. Her first feature Silvia, premiered at IDFA, and won at Docaviv, DocLisboa and Habana Film Festival. She participated in IDFAcademy, IDFA Summer School, and IDFA Space Project, with her new project, Mailin, and she is currently writing her first fiction feature named Fauces, based on her short film Criatura, which won the Pardino d’oro at the 74th Locarno Film Festival.
The first time I saw a film by Michelangelo Frammartino, I was amazed by the beautiful precision of his living paintings, his ways into building metaphysical experiences. To have the chance of conceiving and creating a film with his guidance, seems to me a surreal adventure I cannot wait to embark myself on.
