Amirhossein Shojaei is a well-known photographer based in Iran. Born in 1989, he pursued his education in Civil Engineering at the Islamic Azad University South Tehran Branch from 2008 to 2013. Shojaei's passion for photography led him to explore the world of still photography. As a member of the Iranian Society of Still Photographers, he has been actively involved in various projects, collaborating with renowned directors and artists. Some notable works include, Leila’s Brothers directed by Saeed Rootaee in 2022, A Hero directed by Asghar Farhadi in 2021, Just 6.5 directed by Saeed Roustaee in 2019, and No Date, No Signature directed by Vahid Jalilvand in 2017. His exhibition titled Far held at Atbin Gallery in 2015 received recognition and appreciation from art enthusiasts. He was awarded the Crystal Simorgh for Best Photography at the 35th Fajr Film Festival for his work in the film Subdued directed by Hamid Nematollah in 2017. Negahban marked the starting point of Amirhossein's journey as a filmmaker, and it sparked his creativity and drive to explore the art of storytelling through directing.
