Willy Hans, nato nel 1982, ha studiato cinema con Angela Schanelec e Wim Wenders ad Amburgo. Nel 2014 è stato tra i fondatori del collettivo artistico Spengemann Eichberg Goldkamp Hans. È stato nominato due volte al German Short Film Award. Il suo film Was wahrscheinlich passiert wäre, wäre ich nicht zuhause geblieben (2020) è stato presentato al Festival del cinema di Venezia.
Willy Hans (born 1982) studied film under Angela Schanelec and Wim Wenders in Hamburg. In 2014, he co-founded the artists' collective Spengemann Eichberg Goldkamp Hans. He was nominated for the German Short Film Award twice. His film What Probably Would Have Happened If I Hadn't Stayed at Home (2020) premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
