Lotfi Achour

Lotfi Achour is a Tunisian author, director, and producer. Originally a student of law, he realized, after a family tragedy, that he wanted to become an actor. Aged 21, he enrolled at the Grenoble Conservatory and studied theater and cinema at the Sorbonne Institute of Theatrical Studies. Achour has produced over 25 theatrical works. He has also directed three short films, including La Laine sur le dos, which was nominated in the short film category at the 69th Cannes Film Festival.

Lotfi Achour è un autore, regista e produttore tunisino. Mentre studiava giurisprudenza si è reso conto, a seguito di una tragedia familiare, che voleva fare l’attore. All’età di 21 anni si è iscritto al Conservatorio di Grenoble e ha studiato teatro e cinema all’Institut d'études théâtrales della Sorbona. Achour ha prodotto oltre 25 opere teatrali e ha diretto tre corti, fra cui La Laine sur le dos, candidato nella categoria cortometraggi alla 69esima edizione del festival di Cannes.
