Nelson Yeo è un regista di Singapore. Dopo aver conseguito un bachelor of Fine Arts in digital filmmaking presso la Nanyang Technological University, ha partecipato alla Berlinale Talents Tokyo nel 2014 e ha preso parte alla Locarno Filmmakers Academy nel 2018. Il suo film Mary, Mary, So Contrary (2019) ha vinto il premio come miglior cortometraggio sperimentale al Golden Ger International Film Festival. Here is Not There (2020) è stato premiato come miglior cortometraggio al Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival e come miglior cortometraggio al SGIFF di Singapore. Recentemente Plastic Sonata (2022) ha vinto il premio CathayPlay come miglior cortometraggio cinese al SeaShorts Film Festival.
