2023 O gün bu gündür, uçuyorum (Ever Since, I Have Been Flying)
2020 Espiritos e Rochas: um Mito Açoriano
High atop a Swiss mountain, Deniz, a spirited Turkish student, and Ruth, a reclusive Swiss scientist, reluctantly share an isolated observatory. Their clashing personalities fuel comedic tensions amidst unexplained phenomena, ranging from erratic weather to mysterious incidents plaguing the nearby village below. As they unravel these mysteries and confront personal traumas, their unlikely bond grows, strengthened through their interactions with the villagers, in a tale blending absurd humor, magical realism, and the power of collective resistance.
I aim to challenge stereotypes by exploring the harmonious coexistence of apparent opposites and experimenting, on a formal level, using contrasts, settings and landscapes that evoke both awe and the grim reality of climate change.
